On July 4th, 1986, the Mattress Firm story began with the opening of our very first location in Houston, Texas. With just a business plan, a shared apartment with borrowed poolside furniture and a dream to revolutionize the bedding industry between them, three individuals embarked on a journey that would take America by... sleep!
